Disclaimer *The owner is in the comments arguing with all of the Patrons, this should say enough!
The owner presents as apathetic and snide. The service and demeanor can use great improvement. In no way is it the teens who lack hospitality, it is the female owner who is depreciating and devaluing patrons. She has and Extremely unwelcoming spirit. It’s not what one says it’s how one says it and how one presents. Body language and tone is a language in it self (psychoanalysis).
The store is beautiful and clean but that condescending and deprecating attitude is discouraging. My children and I traveled 20 mins to support, what seemed to be a nice black owned establishment. What intrigued me most was the menu, as it was appealing and had a large array. In all Honesty I walked out as soon as I walked in! I drove an additional 25 minutes to patronize Austell Seafood market where service seems to be prioritized and consumers are appreciated. (Also around the corner 3 minutes away is Marietta seafood market) for any other customers who travel far and long only to end up being disrespected by this family!
The owners responses to customers feed back, suggest that what is being proclaimed by consumers holds great merit. This is assume Given the emotional and long winded responses in which is Signed (OWNER) to every patron who has provided unfavorable feedback. Instead of taking accountability she seems to bend the truth and place blame on (the teenagers) In hopes to dismiss and invalidate claims, instead of excepting accountability.
It would haven been wise to appreciating the critique and using it as an Anchor for innovation. Instead the owner is condescendingly condemning, combating, and disrespecting the consumers and their experience. The Key word in this statement is “EXPERIENCE“ (an experience relates to one perception. Two people can have one experience and detail opposite accounts).
Typically business owners would graciously thanking the people for patronizing and assure development in the future as this would be a nice incentive to return! Instead these responses are unapologetic and EGO drive. ( these ppl must be rich, because they certainly don’t value the people who pay them)
Message to the owner. The micro-inequity and passive aggressive is only discouraging patronization. consciousness and consideration of the energy being transmuted should be assessed and improved going forth. unfortunately this exact tone in the responses is the exact tone that ran a potential customer away.
In the hospitality industry there is always room for improvement, and one should strive for excellence and openly welcome feed-back. Sadly your family is unapologetically rude and lack service etiquette. These reviews tell a story and so does how the owner responses and the tone used to respond.
Even if hypothetically speaking zero percent of these reviews were factual, I know one thing that is true and verifiable (the owners responses). I truly wish I could give the benefit of doubt to the owner regarding my experience today, but given the response to other reviews below mines, this behavior and attitude seems habitual.
Best of luck transmuting that negative energy and much success and prosperity to...
Read moreFirst Time visiting after seeing them all over social media and its 6 mins away too, got home food was cold, its very oily lemon & oil infused, i got the infusion which is okay with chicken & corn but idk about seafood, needs salt, paid $40 i think personally its better to drive to college park, I felt like i was in Juicy Crabs same kind of seasoning just a little worse, I didn't like the fact they had a sign inside the store please have a appropriate behavior because there are teens working, teens have a job to learn about a real job of how life works, .. new business so I'm guessing they have trashy customers to have a sign like that in a store. Menu wasn't clear, very tech savy all with barcode, no paper menus or tv menus. More garlic, lemon, oil then anything else with the seasoning. I am not able to finish it after eating it half way. The crawfish is green/purple inside not eatable. Its chewy so I got that with crab legs and corn. Its over cooked too much in my opinion. Even reading the bad review on crawfish I bought it because I thought maybe they were just bad that day...apparently not. The container never closed since I left the store, bag was filled with oil since I left the restaurant. Smells amazing till you eat it, too oily. Had to add cajun because the mild wasn't even mild because they only have no mild, light mild or medium. Gave a $6 tip cause its a new local business I believe in supporting, but these people really need should have more experience before opening a restaurant. Its worse than the crab place by town center. Customer Service was ok, didn't like how the black manager lady was talking to the teens employee very rude especially infront of a...
Read moreVisited the rest of it for the third time to actually get something which I ordered the Cajun shrimp Alfredo which was very oily and had a lot of sauce which overpowered the broccoli nutrients of a vegetable and the shrimp was average size. Very greasy that when cold was just grease it also caused a lot of indigestion. Overall the staff was very nice and welcoming but I also ordered a snow crab boil and wanted the butter and seasonings placed after the side when I got home. I did indulge in my meal both of them and had a boil which was consisted of crab legs one cluster and some shrimp with potatoes and a piece of corn which was overcooked and very soggy and an egg which I asked not to be placed into the meal because I don’t eat eggs. The snow crab was over cooked I really am not a fan of snow crabs I like Dungeness crab but I wanted to support and try the business out. I also got the flavored tropical juice which was very sweet and I had to dilute it with water. For a person who is diabetic they probably wouldn’t get it anyway because they would go into a diabetic stroke just off of that sweetness and thick consistency. I didn’t mind paying the cost And just wanted to be honest about my food experience because I do travel and eat a lot of places based off of my reviews. If anything the past couple years has taught us that Health is wealth and definitely pay attention to what you’re eating and avoid too many things that are saturated with sodium, sugar, oils and fats. As young businesswomen I wish you all the best! Keep doing well just remember they are opinions in...
