Once a beautiful park. Before they decided to rebuild the dog park in the middle of the beautiful center field, this was a 4.5 star park in terms of openness and space. Plenty of people would hang out in the center field and it was relatively lively.
After a large flood, the dog park in the side-field was destroyed and someone thought it was a good idea to taint the beautifully large and open center field with a replacement dog-park. Now the main attraction of the park here is an eye-sore.
There are a few trails that go back in the woods that have connections to the creek that are good to relax at and lose yourself to the sound of a flowing creek. While I still recommend checking it out, the owners of the park made a poor decision to rebuild the dog park...

Not two minutes later a girl on a bike with training wheels proceeds to run into my wife. I yell at her and her Dad who was 100 feet away yells that she learning to ride. Which I guess he thought it was okay to run into my 72 year old wife who is recuperating and was on a walker 7 months ago. I hope he tells his wife he was no where around when their daughter hit my wife.

Read moreGreat dog park! My dog and I love coming here to play and run around. The dog park is divided for small and large dogs and during the weekdays is usually pretty quite. Very clean and generally well kept, although there are one or two small holes from other dogs that like to dig. The rest of the park is nice as well, it has a playground a little ways away from the dog area, a nice walking trail that goes back into a wooded area, and access to the creek that runs alongside the park!
