South Germantown Recreational Park — Attraction in Germantown

This is a great park! It's huge! It's got a ton of things to climb on, jump on, run on etc. It has a rock climbing wall and these super cool saucer swings. It's got like 3 different play areas surrounding the largest play structures! One of them is a huge ship. There is even an area to make music. It's a ton of fun for the kids and adults as well. There is also a not al swing set with infant, toddler and regular size swings as well as an area with little cars and houses built out of wood. The houses have a table and chaira in them and the kids can sit in the cars and turn the steering wheel. It's super cute. I love that there is also a whole entire surprisingly CLEAN bathroom house right in the corner of the parking lot. I highly recommend this park to everyone!

Another bonus if your visiting this park on a hot summer day...the 🍦 ice-cream man 🍨 always stops in for a visit and to supply the Rugrats with a sugar rush. At least they can burn it right back off playing at the park...

A lot of people are familiar with this park and it's clearly a five-star if there was more I would give them top marks there is vast amounts of parking several different fields that are specifically built to the appropriate size for all ages. They are 10 to 12 indoor volleyball courts that can be used for basketball as well it's massive snack bars awesome it's always a fun experience all I had that there is indoor tennis courts that I've never visited but based on everything else I'm sure they're top-notch bathrooms are always available and pretty well kept. So all you out of towners listen up there's plenty of places to eat 5 to 10 minutes away there's everything you need on...

We were in the swimming center. This was my first visit. The water was a little cold (my wife says it is usually warmer). There were many people but it wasn't crowded despite the visit occurring on a federal holiday when kids were out of school. The locker rooms were first rate - extremely clean with many available lockers and showers - and (a real plus) there were soap dispensers next to each shower - no fumbling with soap from home. There were lots of lifeguards on duty. The diving well was well maintained and the lines for all the boards were orderly. The sauna was comfortable and hot.

I injured my finger and the lifeguard was professional and the medical care was friendly...
