Waters Landing Local Park — Attraction in Germantown

Great park with a number of walking paths that connect to the surrounding neighborhoods. The park has a pavilion (I think you can rent it out, but I am unsure who you would contact to set that up), a playground, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a soccer field with goals. A number of people come out to the park to play pick up basketball games and for each of the last 4 weekends someone was having an event in the pavilion. This is a popular park, yet not overcrowded or filled with litter. There is a working water fountain with a level for kids, one higher for adults, and even water spout that dogs can drink out of (or fill a bowl). It is a nice little park in Germantown. The soccer ground is big enough and clean. There is also a small playground for kids. I love this place because every Samedi, people who love soccer gather here from 9:30 am to 11 am to play soccer. Men and women and even kids..
