Run don’t walk to Smith Farm stand. It’s just off the bypass just down the road away over by Bouldic Golf course. It’s a nice little stroll down to the blueberry bushes. You pass the raspberry bushes on the way. There was nobody there when we showed up this morning at 8 AM. The blueberries were large and plump and literally falling off the bushes. We picked 12 pints between my boyfriend and myself in one hour. It’s $3 a pint for blueberries and I think $5 a pint for raspberries for You Pick. It was the best price that we could find around for the blueberries. We’re even thinking about going back in two weeks because there’s so many more that are on the bush that are ripening. Half of it was in a shaded area at that time of day also. Super easy picking. Highly would recommend the place. We met the owner and their dog Watson, super friendly and nice. Watson will probably meet you on the way up the drive. Across the street is their son‘s house and they have two other cocker spaniels. There all harmless. He’s just excited he loves people he loves treats, so don’t be deterred if you see him barking at you or running up to the car, he’s just saying hello. He doesn’t follow you into the farm he just likes to run between his house and across the street to play with the dogs. But if you have a treat on hand, he probably will be glad to take it. Just need to have a check or cash Available. Looking forward...
