Meadow Lanes Bowling & Banquet Center — Attraction in Gladwin

I don't live nearby, so I called around earlier in the day to find a place to take my kids and their friends glow bowling. I called and they said they do have glow bowling from 9pm-12am. So we drove almost 45 minutes to get there. I bought all kinds of glow sticks, glow face paints, glow shirts, and accessories. We were dressed and ready to have a glow party. We walked in the door at 9:00 on the dot and they said there wasn't enough people there for glow bowling. Well, WE were there for it. And talked them into turning it on for us. We ordered food and drinks, and we were having a wonderful time even tho there were only a few other people there. We were in the 8th frame of our first game and they came over and told us they were closing early, and they were only charging us for the one game and asked us to leave after that game. So we got ALL ready, drove ALL the way there, and got to play ONE game. We didn't even finish our food or drinks! I will NEVER go back! I should have driven farther and maybe been able to play somewhere else for longer. I'm still giving it 2 stars because they DID turn on the glow lights for us and while we were playing the kids did have fun and they were being so good! Very friendly and nice. I stopped in because I needed something to occupy the kids after a trip to the pool fell through. They had leagues starting in a half hour, but they still let us squeeze in to play as much as we could. The folks working there were very nice and accommodating. Prices were very reasonable for lanes and shoes. It isn't the newest bowling alley I've ever been to, but there was computer scoring, house balls, and a kitchen. What more...

Friendly staff, good food, great bowling atmosphere! Excellent for Family fun!! Best place to hold an event! Wish I could give 10 stars! They made our Surprise Anniversary night perfect. Staff was polite & professional , they went out of their way to help, never once, out of the million questions I asked of them, did they ever act like I was annoying/bothering them. There was plenty of room and many amenities available for us to take use....
