I go here to walk my dogs as there are far fewer people here than at other parks. The only drawback is that there are many coyotes that live in the area. They have become quite brazen in their quest for food. Please be aware of this and prepare accordingly. Other than that, it's a quiet place to chill. There is a sectioned off area above the tables area that has climbing apparatus for the kids. It is quite close to the hillside so supervision is suggested. My dingos like the grassy field in the lower area. Update 8/4/23: So I have a spine injury, and I park at the top of the single driveway near the children's play area. It's super close to the restrooms and my injury makes me have to urinate more frequently (TMI but now u know why I park there). Today, while walking my little dogs at the park, a maintenance worker tells me I can't park there. I explained my injury, and he kept saying I could not park there. I was walking up to my vehicle as my dogs had finished their business and I then told him that there are no signs prohibiting me from parking there. He kept saying I had to park elsewhere, and now he was getting annoying. I told him as I was walking to my car, "why are you hassling me? There's no one else at the park" he kept insisting that there were signs and that I had to leave. There was no regard for my injury, and there are no signs or chains blocking this driveway. There is a chain on the other road leading up into the back of the park but that has a sign posted. See my pics and you be the judge. Pic 1 shows the signs at the bottom. Pic 2 shows my car at the bottom of that driveway near the signs. Pic 3 shows where my car was parked and the curb is white. Pic 4 shows the other pole and no sign. Oh yes, pic 5 shows where the city employee was parked, and that's NOT the parking lot. Poor customer service, and I come here almost daily.

Liked it a lot. Except the partially shaded roof-like structure. It's composed of beams, so the sun gets through. Which I wouldn't mind, except I was hired to face-paint. Hence, it was difficult to take good quality photos of my work.

Feels like your on top of the world. This is a different view of LA. A bit father back. But with the right light, it's a gorgeous picture

Such a beautiful, cool and breezy picnic area. Nestled in the beautiful treelined Oak Knolls Canyon neighborhood of Glendale with plenty of parking and shaded gazebos that can be rented through the city ahead of time. It offers community style concrete tables, clean, stocked bathrooms, a playground for kids, plenty of shaded trails with pet friendly areas, open area to play catch, and grills for BBQing. I would definitely suggest this park to anyone throwing a...

I reserved the covered areas for a birthday. City was prompt and easy to book with. Maintenance was sent out immediately to clean up the trash prior to the event. There is a sink near each covered area. Ample parking nearby for guests. Playground immediately in front of parents (near shelter 3) making it easy to stay with the party and watch the kids. Would definitely recommend for a party...
