For all you experts- this isn't Morrison or the Valmont/Frisco/Trestle bike park. You will be underwhelmed if you're looking for 30ft gaps and flippable features. For anyone (beginner to advanced intermediate) looking to ride some dirt jumps in the golden area these are perfect. You have a beginner pump track which is usually loaded with little kids (<12yrs old on striders and scooters too). It is worn out an not maintained very well in my opinion. Still better than having to drive to Valmont or Ruby Hill. They also have a small and med/small jump line further up the hill. The med/small line has 5 jumps (tables) good for easy tricks. The Large (truly a medium) line starts to become less table tops and resembles more of a double line (still rollable). Again I would consider this a medium line. Is it the best jump line- as a former bmx trail builder -absolutely not, flow is off you have to brake after each jump and the lower section (is a bit wonkey), but the first 5 jumps are worth a ride. Rating is a 4 for the following reasons- 1. Location- I live in Golden. Driving to Valmont is 45minutes minimum. Golden Bike park is a 10minute drive (with traffic). 2. Brewery next door- I can ride for a few hours and then enjoy the sunset with a fresh brewed beer. 3. Size/Difficulty - as a 40+yr old I don't want to kill myself at ruby hill (20years ago no problem). It has enough size to allow me to have fun just riding or practicing some of my old bmx tricks. If the medium jumpline flow was better it would get 5 stars. Just my $0.02.

Well... You can clearly see what this place used to be... It seems like nobody maintains this anymore, which is a real shame. Has some solid features, a pump track, and some sweet slopestyle lines. Nothing huge, and not really a small line either. Most of the jumps are tables do decent for learning Gets hot in the summer and watch got snakes! Right by a brewery though, plus tons of fruit on the trails in the fall. I would love this park if someone put some work to it. Could be so much better, currently... It's alright.

Fun little park. Defo nothing groundbreaking, but a great place to go have some fun if you're in the area. Jumps are medium at best, so it's a great place to throw some whips, get sketchy, have some laughs. Great for an after work session. Thanks to all the builders/landowners/Golden for making it happen.

My 6 year old would rate it 5. A skilled rider might give it 3. It's a great little local hill. The pump track is great for kids starting just out. The challenging features up top are popular with local teens and 20 somethings but everyone is usually respectful and will take turns with casual riders. I've been taking my son there...
