Herman Park

I’ve been to this park numerous times with my family. At first I thought it was pretty nice. I always had to pick up trash here and there to keep away from my child & other children (lollipops, soda bottles, etc) which wasn’t a big deal. After todays visit I will not be back here. Luckily my child wanted me to go on the stairs and play with her on the play sets and I’m glad I did. She was crawling through a tunnel and saw something. Showed it to me and it was a small broken piece of glass, a small metal tool of some sort next to a pile of canned goods. I then saw multiple small pieces of glass that other kids thankfully ran past and didn’t get cut. It was very obvious what the broken pieces of glass was used for. Clearly this park has no security of any sort because my child was playing in a spot that someone had been camping out in overnight. It’s a shame. After this and kids way too old for this park intentionally holding up slides so kids couldn’t use I had to cut the park time short which was very unfair for my child. Parents be aware of what’s in this park.
