KFC — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Tonight at 8:15pm I went to the drive thru and was looking at the menu and was asked what do I need to order, then I asked for a few more seconds, they asked me again if I needed help, I again replied, I need more time because I didn’t knew what to order, and there was absolutely no other vehicles behind me, then an employee stuck her head thru the drive thru window and yelled at me to hurry up and that really upset me, so I went to the window and asked why are you yelling at me to hurry me up ? Before she even replied back, here comes the manager and told me to have a good day and slammed the window in my face, so that really upset me to the point that I blew the horns so I can get her attention and then I Asked, why you done that ? She said, because I can !!! That right there is an insult !!! And I will call KFC toll free number tomorrow morning and will do whatever it takes to report that manager She’s a African American female in her late 30s or early 40s and have very poor communication skills and not qualified for her supervision job. People like this make KFC look bad and bring nothing but a negative impact on the company. She needs to be removed...

Great food, excellent service and a wonderful, welcoming staff. The tables and floors were clean. My only real concern is the manager came to the register from the kitchen without washing her hands. Took my order and then used tongs to get my food and returned to the kitchen all without washing her hands. I paid with a card. She then took another order. That customer paid with cash. She took the money and got her food without washing her hands.

Money carries more germs than any other tangible object people readily handle. I worked in the food industry for 15 years. In the kitchen she could have touched surfaces that had raw chicken and touching serving utensils after having handled currency is bad practice as it can contaminate the food the utensils are contacting.

Gloves are usually required, but handwashing is always required especially after touching money or raw meats. No one should be fired for this. It needs to be a learning experience. Everyone makes mistakes, but as long as they learn not to...

For almost 20 years this kfc has been a family favorite. I've decided I won't be going here anymore because lately, last 10-15 orders have been wrong or had to wait beyond what's reasonable or the food simply isn't good. My last order was for a 16 piece family meal. I was given 8 legs, 4 breasts, only 4 of the 8 biscuits that came with meal and none of the apple pies I ordered. I did call up there and it took 3hrs to reach a manager. She did offer to "replace" the 4 biscuits, 4 pieces of chicken and apple pies. I decided to not even go back for that.
