Goldsby Gaming Center — Attraction in Goldsby

Absolutely the worst casino in Oklahoma. My boyfriend won a small jackpot 1400$ barely over the limit of what you can cash out without assistance and he happened to have lost his id they said no problem just come back with it. He had two conversations with the operations manager and everything was fine we thought then third conversation she states he has to have some carbon copy slip of paper they gave him that we can't find. They gave his information on file they know he won't jackpot an they know who he is but wonr release the money without that slip of paper it doesn't say that anywhere in the posted rules online or anywhere else I can find and they certainly didn't tell us that when they handed it to us. They have other cash out rules clearly posted why not this one. Why would you have someone something like that and not relay the importance of it? I just can't wrap my mind around how they can do that. Scam city. We spend way more money than that in there and we used to love it but we will never step foot in there again not even if they paid me which they won't and don't obviously. I go to Goldsby Gaming pretty regularly mainly because of location. It’s close to my house and I do like it there. However I have had a few instances that have really made me consider going other places more. Today has made me extremely mad and I am still fuming over this. I went in this morning and there was a machine I wanted to play. The progressive was at 489.26 and had to pay before it hit 500.00. The game was out of service. I was frustrated that it was down but I was fixing to leave. And then, I heard someone ask a worker when it would be up and running and she stated that it was a reserved machine and it had been taken out of service until the man got there to play it. That decision of that worker cost me 500.00 today. I had noticed machines not working at the time they are to hit but I never knew they were taking them out of commission until the person got there that “reserved” the machine. Well my family has been gambling at most every casino in this State and I used to frequent Shreveport. However Goldsby is and always will be my favorite. It has changed on the floor due to the remodeling going on upstairs and the bar is where the grill use to be when they had smoking and nonsmoking Live BINGO ! My Mother is in her 80's and the parking is very good plenty of handicapp available no steps and friendly staff. She has been a regular for many years before the games , we go there to play some IGT games her favorites but they also have the same venues in VGT and their newer stuff . It's was a very good entertaining time , I enjoyed the atmosphere and of course the time spent with my mom doing her favorite pass time, priceless. Just remind yourself to stop when you get a couple hundred ahead, win and leave . Play and stay you always give it back . We won . Great...
