Madison Creek Farms — Attraction in Goodlettsville

5 years ago, I decided to test my gardening abilities with a few potted herbs and tomatoes. It was a massive failure; basil was the sole survivor. The following year, I thought it best to outsource, so I searched for a local CSA and learned that Madison Creek Farms was just down the road. I found their CSA option to be totally unique -- Peggy & Mark do all of the hard work, but allow us to see it in action and be a part of the farming experience. We've watched the most vibrant and abundant plants grow from seemingly nothing; picked our own blackberries, strawberries and tomatoes; cut an unlimited number of fresh herbs and flowers over the years (the summer flower crop is beyond amazing); and tried varieties of produce we'd never have eaten otherwise. They've invited us into their home each season and have fed both our bellies and our souls. We leave each pickup with full baskets and full hearts, grateful for an abundance of organic, locally-grown produce, and our farmers who have worked so hard to provide it.
