From being greeted by one of the friendly weekend employees, to being guided on a hike by one of the locals who've volunteered at the trails for decades... You'll have an experience like no other. Cozy up in the cabin by the fire after your snowshoe hike, snow bike run, cross country ski session, or tubing adventure, and enjoy some hot cocoa and a little treat from the snack counter. All equipment is available for renting, if needed. Get a half day or full day pass and try a few different activities! We visited in late February 2020, while we were guests at the Grafton Inn. The Grafton Inn includes a free pass to their guests for access to the Grafton Trails and Outdoor Center. The pass even includes free rental of Nordic ski equipment. The equipment was brand new and performed flawlessly. The trails are well marked and the map seems quite exact. The trails were perfectly groomed. If you go toward the top, you will find the Big Bear shelter. While exploring the lovely town of Grafton, we came across the Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center. We were greeted with a great big smile from Angela Comstock, who spent a long time with us sharing information and details about everything Grafton. She is a wealth of information! Her enthusiasm for and dedication to the trails and activities is contagious; we cannot wait to get back to spend more time exploring and enjoying all there is to do in Grafton and the surrounding area.
