"A breathtaking experience." Many words can be used to share to you about how NWT runs and operates their facility, but I will try to keep it brief. Sunny (in the photo) was are wild life guide and care taker of all the critters. Not only she got us close to experience the wild life but she also shared knowledge and knows the animals by name! The park is not only home to native species, but wild life including forage and plant growth as well. Don't look at this as a zoo!! The park spans over 400+ acres of land giving the wild life an exact feel to home while also rehabilitation of orphan animals, injured, endangered, and watch list breeds that are near endangered/extinction. The parks are very well maintained as far as walk ways, road paths, animal health, and keeping on top of non-native forage/plants. Tacoma metro parks have been taking good care of them.
