"A breathtaking experience." Many words can be used to share to you about how NWT runs and operates their facility, but I will try to keep it brief. Sunny (in the photo) was are wild life guide and care taker of all the critters. Not only she got us close to experience the wild life but she also shared knowledge and knows the animals by name! The park is not only home to native species, but wild life including forage and plant growth as well. Don't look at this as a zoo!! The park spans over 400+ acres of land giving the wild life an exact feel to home while also rehabilitation of orphan animals, injured, endangered, and watch list breeds that are near endangered/extinction. The parks are very well maintained as far as walk ways, road paths, animal health, and keeping on top of non-native forage/plants. Tacoma metro parks have been taking good care of them. I give them an A+ rating. Again, thank you Sunny for the experience, knowledge, and what you do to preserve are local wild wife and environment. I look forward to meeting you again and watching the children grow.😁

What a wonderful play area for kids. All of it made to look like a natural forest setting with a creek running through. Conveniently located next to the cafeteria, picnic pavilion and outdoor seating area. Everytime I have been there, an attendant was on duty, keeping watch over the play area.

Overall the playground was nice but there is something I do not like at all. On one of the rocks on the playground said no climbing which I find ridiculous. I know it is a safety feature but I do not see anything wrong at all with climbing a rock that is not even high. There were also adults SUPERVISING THE 10 YEAR OLDS AND ALL THE OTHER KIDS. They are clearly taking...

My daughter and I needed to kill some time after picking her up from school and her parent teacher conference. So we went colombusing to Kids Trek. And in the short time we were there I was impressed. My daughter was actually excited about going to a park. It was nice to see her smile. I'll take pictures next time. But 100%...
