This place is a blast and totally worth taking the detour to Rickseecker point road and enjoy the amazing views. There are many spots along the ~1 mile road, with informative panels. This road is one-way and easy, so go slow and enjoy it. There is a chance of spotting wild animals as well. The best one though is this very first after taking the detour. If you are lucky enough and come on a sunny day you will see mount rainier and all the other mountains snow covered.

This is closed - nothing on the website said it was closed. Disappointed because it was the place I drove up here to see. Good thing this Mt has more to offer & went to Christine falls! I really wish the website was up to date.

Ricksecker point has one of the best views of Mt. Rainier! You can see the mountain slope up from the horizon, and the view of the glaciers is fantastic! Luckily, there isn't any hiking required to get here, just pull off the side of the road! There aren't many signs showing you where to go, but you can...
