The Wonderland trail is massive and can be hiked at various points throughout the park. The main positive of the trail is the trees, forest and sounds of nature. Most of the trail is remote and ideal for experienced hikers or introverts like me. You will find awesome springs, creek, and rivers throughout the journey with options for other trails. If you don't know where to start in the park and want a longer hike, start here.

Awesome hike to Carter Falls at the end of May! The distance a bit over the estimated length on the trailhead (between 1.5-1.75 miles instead). Still some icy sections near the top where the waterfall is marked, but gorgeous view. Some steep sections of climbing but very do-able!

The Carter Falls itself it’s not super worthy if you compare it with Narada Falls. It’s a 2.2 miles hike from the trailhead. If you do not want to pay a visit to Carter Falls, you can take some astonishing pictures at the beginning of the trail. Worth it!
