Hunter Park — Attraction in Granbury

Went tent camping with buddies here. Got a little wasted set up tent at 11pm, small tent. Stormfront rolled in tempatures dropped to 40 degrees. Wind speed of 15 mph coming offf the lake. Tent was like a kite kept flaping, there were stickers all over the place. Impossible to sleep couldn't drive home because we were all wasted. That night felt like descent into hell. Worst park in Granbury. I’m actually surprised to see this hasn’t been mentioned yet, but this is a very popular hang out of addicts. We’ve been here a few times and the amount of druggies that have been here and approached us while fishing is alarming. Each experience was worse and made us so uncomfortable that we refuse to go back. If you are looking for a good fishing spot there are a lot better options than this one around the area. Great experience! We went fishing for our first time here. Very clean park and bathroom. There was a boat ramp and 2 fishing piers. Picnic tables and canopy's. A local fisherman came down while we were setting up. He was nice and showed us a good spot out there we were getting bites the whole time!
