Park: 5 stars People and dogs: 0 stars

The park is huge with water in the summer, two separate sections and lots of stuff to climb on. Water is a little difficult to make come out, but it does work. My dogs love swimming in the pond and despite everyone saying it's dangerous, my dogs did so for 6 years and have never had an issue. Sometimes there are horses in the training arena and I love watching them. Trails are very nice. Every single dog you meet will be off leash, and not all are friendly or under control. The ones that go into the dog park are straight up aggressive, and their owners think their dog is just playing when it made my dog bleed. I always brought my dogs here on a leash. One guy yelled at me for driving into a parking spot because I almost "ran over his chihuahua". Well, maybe don't walk your dog off leash in the parking lot. Legally, it wouldn't have been my fault if I hit it. This place is great, but the people and dogs… not so much. We don't even go here anymore we've had so...

This park is awesome and I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for some confusion as to what areas are specifically for dogs and the rules about leashes. It has a nice fenced in area for dogs off leash, but it makes me very uncomfortable to wander the entire park and trails and see so many dogs off leash around leashed dogs and small children. I bring my dog there to keep him properly socialised, yet having a bunch of strange dogs running up to leashed dogs is a disaster waiting to happen. I think the entire park should be enjoyed by all, but ALL dogs should be kept on a leash if outside the designated fenced in area. It doesn’t matter if you have the most friendly dog in the world, if that dog runs up to a leashed dog and frightens it, you now have a reactive situation that could lead to serious injury. Most of the off leash dogs that came up to my dog did so by coming up from behind with no warning. The park should have more clear cut rules as to what areas are off leash and what...

This is a great recreational area with huge fields, nice woods trails, an enclosed dog area, equestrian facilities, a playground and a fishing pond. I'd give five stars, but the cleanliness of the place isn't great. Because it is free, it attracts all kinds of folks. Some of whom couldn't care less about where they dump their trash. The amount of garbage that accumulates each day in the pond and streams is disheartening. Having someone on patrol would probably stop a lot of that and earn it that last star. A entrance fee and/or access permit would...

There is a medium sized children's playground with 6 very tall swings, 2 of which are toddler swings. If you're coming for the kids playground enter at the Taylor St entrance, otherwise you will have to park and walk all around the pond. There is a good sized pond that's great for fishing small pumpkin seeds and cat fish. As soon as your lure hits the water you will have a bite. Best for kids. There are 6 wooden covered areas with 3 picnic tables under each gazebo. Two baseball fields and wooded areas to explore.

This is an excellent park to bring your dog. Their will likely be other dogs: in the newly renovated and enclosed dog park, out in the open off leash, or along the many trails. Aside from that there is a nice playground, disc golf, picnic tables and grills, and space for horses. Others that come to this park are cautious drivers entering the dirt lot on both sides. The west entrance is closed for winter season as cars have either created holes in the lot or gotten stuck in the past.

Nice park for walking. Love the option of fields, pond, or trails. They have a disk golf course, a dog park (small and large dog sections), a play ground, baseball/softball fields and more. Always lively with sport games after school. There is a horse ring that doesn't get used much also. Once a year in June this park also hosts the Granby Charter Days Fair which is lots of fun.
