Love this place. Open very early and the service is quick. I appreciate a small eat-in diner, you are served at your table and when you are ready to go you simply pay at the counter. This is great if you are working and are on a tight schedule, but also want the luxury of a big early morning breakfast. I am usually in and out before the "second wave" of breakfast diners usually roll in around 8:30-9 and then it becomes a bustling neighborhood spot. I do love coming here for a more leisurely experience on days off as well, great place to meet friends and neighbors...

Our waiter was making very slick comments at me. I think she had a problem because I was the only person of color in the restaurant, she then had our party sit in a separate room where no one was eating. Then proceeded to throw creamers at me when we politely asked for more. The home fries weren’t even crunchy they tasted like boiled potatoes worst experience ever. Ok to be honest. I used to come here every morning with my husband. Until one sunny morning my husband seen something that turned us both off completely. A woman was cashing a customer out and took his money puts it in the register than went over to the food and started handling the food...without washing her hands first or putting on gloves. I’m sorry but that is very unsanitary!! This really upsets me because I loved waking up and going to the early mug since it’s right down the street...
