North Dakota Museum of Art — Attraction in Grand Forks

We tried to visit the NDMA today, September 26, but it was closed because the roof repairs appear to be still under way. Not a problem there. But the website states the closing was only through September 21. The sign on the door when we got there also said closed through September 21. When it became clear to management that the construction would not be completed by the expected date of September 21, I wish someone would have changed the information on the website. My first time ever to visit. Really enjoyed the space and natural light and a perfect setting to view some art. We also went to the little soup and sandwich restaurant in the lower level and had a tasty and very affordable lunch with super good service. The only draw back is the pay for parking on the lot. It took a while to figure out the online parking system but it's a very reasonable cost. Of course the next time I visit all that info is now on my phone which will make...

The museum is in the University of North Dakota campus. Admission is free. One is free to make a voluntary contribution , if one vishes to do so.

The museum has a nice cafeteria in the basement.

In the gnd floor it has two partitions and art exhibitions conducted there from time time.

In the first floor it has art displays but also has a collection of artifacts of a single person from New York, who willed his apartment and collection to this museum
