We drove an hour one way to have a beach day with our dog one 90 degree day. We were then told we could go in, but not our dog. Because of covid the dog beach was closed. I don't understand how a dog beach can be open, but dogs cant go in. Wouldn't it just be closed? Or wouldn't it just be a normal beach? Then the lady told us that dogs are only allowed at certain times. This place really chapped my arse. Such a disappointment... and if you want to be a disappointment, at least put the info on your webpage before people drive from all over. Read moreBEST BEACH EVER! We are vacationing with five large dogs and they loved this park! The nice wooded path leading in is a lovely walk and a lot for the dogs to sniff. It leads to a huge beach that is full of dogs and dog friendly owners. Our pups had a great time. They are completely exhausted. Time to drop them off at the RV to sleep while we head back to downtown to explore. Heading back to the beach again tomorrow! See you there...
