Totally a hidden gem full of history. I am certain there are locals who have lived in Tooele for years not knowing this place is here. This place has pictures and artifacts from fire departments all over the state of Utah. The two gentlemen who answered our questions were very knowledgeable and one of them is a retired firefighter. Admission fees are not required to visit this museum, however cash donations are accepted. There is a donation box by the entrance. PS, Doors are a bit hard to open. Pull firmly during business hours.

My little guy loves, loves everything to do with fire fighters and he loved this museum. The curator was friendly and nice. There were quite a few trucks and you can climb in a few which is awesome! It is in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find. Do follow the directions on the website because Google maps isn't quite on. Once was enough.

This is a really cool museum! It's a great place that honors the fireman legacy in Utah. They have uniforms, tools, and vehicles from all over the state. You could spend a couple of hours here learning about the history of firefighting. It can be a little tricky to get especially using Google Maps. But it's there, I promise!

What a great place! This museum has every fire fighting apparatus imaginable along with all the gear and tools firefighters use to fight fires. I highly recommend this museum for everyone. Both adults and kids will find it entertaining and informative and will love viewing the old firetrucks. Adults especially will find the vintage equipment fascinating. My husband and I spent several hours here and still didn't feel like we'd seen everything....
