I honestly would never book here again. Not the Peak or Legion Park. For one Legion Park has a huge bee issue. You think for charging people 40 a night they could put out some bee traps or do some type of maintenance so people can enjoy their stay. I do have to stay the women working the booth are absolutely AMAZING!!
Let’s talk about The Peak campground. They have issues with people parking in the campground during game days. Blocking you into your camping spots. They have a lot of events here so it is a louder campsite, which honestly wasn’t an issue. The issue is there director Cory. He is by far the rudest person I have ever spoken to in my life. The first time I spoke to him he said I couldn’t have two cars at the campsite. When everyone around us did. The campground says dog friendly but it’s 100% not. I am staying here waiting for my house to get done. I booked an extra 7 days that I have no want to stay here. And they refuse to refund the 370 dollars. When I asked Cory about it he legit calls me back and in his snotty condescending voice is like no refund. Not hi how are you. How has your stay been. Nothing! When I told him he’s rude he’s like no I’m just straight to the point. What a shame that they have someone like that in charge. He literally needs to take a class on people skills!
I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to any family or friends.
Only thing that was nice about this place was the ladies working. Sweetest...
Read moreThe caliber of events hosted here is very questionable. The venue does a very poor job of establishing and enforcing vendor rules. My most recent experience was the Monster Truck show. Parking was $20–an amount not disclosed up front, and the closest handicap spots were still almost a quarter mile from the entrance. Staff prohibited some guests from bringing in water but allowed others to bring full coolers. The temperature was in the 80s with direct sun, and they confiscated water!! The intermission was longer than the entire first act, and the event was grossly disappointing compared to more reputable monster truck shows I’ve been to. I have attended numerous events here over the years, and I have yet to go to the Desert Peak Complex for a show I felt was worthwhile—slow to learn my lesson I guess. You get what you pay for, and there’s a reason their events are cheaper than other...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of Hosting the 2023 ECBC National Chinchilla Show this weekend at the Deseret Peak Convention Center. The people who work here went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our event a success. Corey, Mimi and Chad were the most helpful and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. In a situation where I had so much stress already on my plate. They made the venue portion of the show so easy and so stress free it was a welcome relief. The Convention center is a beautiful and extremely useful space. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our Show and our awards Banquet. Thank you so much for all you help, patience and understanding. Special shout out to Chad, 5 am comes super early. We appreciate you so much. Thank you, the...
