Acorn Woods Park — Attraction in Grapevine

The park itself is nice with shaded picnic areas with grills and places to park right next to them.

There are also trails here, nice wide paved trails with wooden bridges that go next to the lake and connect to a larger trail system.

Only word of caution, and certainly not a detriment, is that the trail here and throughout the system are multiuse, and people enjoy cycling here, so small children should be kept...

We used to visit this park all the time when we lived right across the street. It's a really nice area, great hiking trails, nice paths, picnic tables, fishing areas, a beach, and docks for your boats. We brought our dog here for his last day, he loved it.
