My kids love this park, and so do I! It’s large and has a lot of different areas to play in and on. The ground cover is mostly artificial turf in bright blue and bright green hues. There are some areas with wood chips, like under the zip line and swings, and in one corner that has several “rocks” to climb on.

There’s a large treehouse structure with several slides attached, that also has a little covered area in the middle of the tree that looks like a kids hideout. There are large statues of comical bugs, turtles, dolphins, beavers, and other animals scattered around the park. There are additional climbing structures around the park, a zip line, swings (including adaptive/ADA compliant ones), and a large wheelchair accessible see saw.

I didn’t notice signs with specific age guidelines but I would imagine kids from 2 years and up would find it entertaining. There are some smaller areas that would be appropriate for toddlers as long as they’re being watched closely, and there have always been lots of 8-10 year old kids when we go who look like they’re having the time of their lives! The park has a fence all along the street side which is useful to me since I have one kid who is always trying to run off someplace, so I appreciate that he can’t easily end up in the road. That said, the playground is NOT fully enclosed - the side next to the parking lot is totally open and there’s a ramp from the large treehouse that leads to the Dove Waterpark and Pool which is right next door.

I really have zero gripes about this park, other than wishing it was closer...

My childrens favorite park and soon yours! Best part is the tree house, zip line and the whole hunney I shrunk the kids concept of a land bigger than their imaginations. The rock boat was fun but can make the adults nauseous, just FYI. The tree house allows access to climb through the trunk to get to the slides. This park is a kids dream. Whomever designed this park definitely knew the safety's for looking out for your kids best interest and parents faint of heart. The park is enclosed to the busy street but please make sure you advise your kids to not play near the fence, some shady characters do lurk passing by.

A very large picnic table area is to the side. You can have a child's birthday party easily on a couple tables. Please don't be that parent that takes up 99.9% of the tables, please share. The parking lot is also fairly small but can accommodate many. Try the street side for parking as well. There are public restrooms.

Very clean...

One of our favourite parks in the DFW area. We drive here from north fort worth area on occasion for playtime. It's worth the 35min drive! Small but with lots to do. The zip line here is particularly great- it has a good angle for extra speed. The playstructure (tree house) is wheelchair accessible. There is a good sized soccer field attached at the one end of the park with goal posts. There is also a few splash pad facilities during the summer. The park is in the same block as a community pool and waterpark but this requires an entry fee in summer months. Only downside was the restrooms are both missing a soap dispenser and no baby...

While I can't provide real-time ratings, I can offer a general recommendation based on its typical features and user feedback. Dove Park in Dallas is often well-regarded for its spacious layout, well-maintained facilities, and variety of amenities, including playgrounds, picnic areas, walking trails, and sports fields. Families, fitness enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike can enjoy its peaceful atmosphere and recreational opportunities. Visitors often appreciate its cleanliness and the availability of ample parking. Overall, Dove Park tends to receive positive reviews and is a popular destination for outdoor activities in the Dallas area.

Absolutely adored Casey’s Clubhouse at Dove Park! It has a whimsical, fairytale feel to it, and I love that it is an inclusive playground for children with different physical, cognitive and sensory needs. Here is an excerpt I found on Grapevine’s website: This special playground was inspired by a little girl, Casey, and her dream to play with the other children. “Today, we need to not only look at how special needs kids play, but how able bodied friends can play with special needs kids, “ Louis Tridico (Casey’s Father)
