I love MA state parks. Well marked, easy to find and follow.This was a nice trail. Good short day hike. Good part of it has extended inclines but not too steep. Hiked with my pup Roxy. Keep in mind this state land has hunting year round, so keep your dogs near. I just wish there was a part of the trail that looped back around to the pond. I started at the pond and came out at the recreation center.

Nice peaceful walk once off the road. Three mile trail is nice, or you can take the short walk to the fields. Both are beautiful.

Pretty bland. Graveyards have more life in them then this pond has. Looks pretty though. Probably a good bet for kids

I think it would be a great idea for greenagers to put a trail to the back side of the pond an place a few picnic table for the bird lovers out there and the walkers/hickers and whomever. First visit to Fountain Pond. We took the easy walk today. Wonderful huge trees and lots of blooming shrubbery. Birds happily tweeting in their great home.
