Discovery Bay Waterpark — Attraction in Greeley

We have been frequent visitors to Discovery Bay for years, and our children love swimming there. However, during our recent visit, we were surprised and disappointed to learn about a policy requiring non-swimming parents to pay an entry fee just to watch their children. We were never informed about this policy change before.This fee creates an unnecessary financial burden, especially for families already facing economic hardship. It's troubling that the staff mentioned previous patrons didn’t complain, but it was clear those individuals didn't speak English fluently, making it difficult for them to voice objections. It feels like this policy is taking advantage of people who might not feel comfortable or able to challenge it.We’ve reached out to the Recreation Supervisor, Natalee Gonzalez, via email and Facebook but have yet to receive a response. Our extreme disappointment in Ms. Gonzalez and the leadership on this issue cannot be overstated. It's frustrating to feel ignored on such an important issue. We believe Discovery Bay should be a place that’s fair and welcoming to everyone, regardless of their language or ability to pay extra fees.We encourage anyone who feels similarly to speak up. This pool is great for the kids. The kid area is amazing and so fun for little ones. There is a small slide for kids with with many fountains coming from the ground as well as pouring down from above. The dinosaur is always a kids favorite and great for memories. There's a lazy river and a large fountain and water sprayers that sprays the river goers. Theres a large slide that has 5 or 6 twisty turns on it. My kids love it. There was a Hispanic radio station and concessions here today which was nice. My only complaint was they were playing some gangster rap with foul language while there are hundreds of kids in the pool area for about an hour until somebody put...

We had a large family gathering here and was an excellent experience once again! The life guards did and excellent job cleaning up an elderly swimmer who got scraped up, with no issues what so ever. The facilities were clean for being an outdoor setting. We helped maintain the trash around the area we settled into, I'd say the only complaint was that the trash cans were full around the whole establishment. I assume the majority of employees were teens and it definitely surprised me with how well they worked to keep things smooth! Such...
