Great, authentic Mexican food inside of a meat market. The salsa for the chips was very savory and not too spicy and the chips themselves were crisp to perfection. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, the price was average for the size and there was a decent amount of shrimp. The accompanying red onions, cilantro, tomatoes and avocado were all fresh in the soup which wasn’t too thick with Clamato like in other places (not that it’s a bad thing). They are in my neighborhood so I have eat here a couple of times service is slow and foot wait time is a little long if you take in a count I was the only one in there. Tacos de Carnitas, Azada, Alpastor tacos where dry and lack in flavor. I did like the Adobada chicken tacos 🌮 not bad. Agua de Melon was good. Was never offered a refill that sucks. Phone ordered to go steak a la mexicana plate. When I got home I saw that they gave me a steak ranchero plate. I called to let them know of their mistake (not to get a refund). The lady who took my order claimed that I ordered a steak ranchero when I ordered a steak a la Mexicana. She basically called me a liar, which really insulted me. All I wanted was an apology.
