I have been a fan of Tranquility Farms since 2011 when we moved into town (meat, produce, flowers, Fall Fest, Christmas, etc.). But this review is specifically about the new farm stand recently opened a little further north on 517. In short: awesome! The new farm stand is spacious and they clearly have left room to grow. Plentiful produce, meat, and bakery items. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Last night I finally got to try their ice cream (which had always been amazing) which is dished out from windows near the front of the building until 9pm. My kids had small sundae's with the usual adornment of toppings and I had a milkshake which I requested to be "extra chocolate-y." I review all ice cream by one metric: just how willing are you to put extra syrup in the shake? The answer is, very willing! Employee was jovial and efficient, if not perhaps a bit taken aback by my request. The ice cream area is HUGE and I imagine they are planning for a lot more business down the line. It took a bit of time to make, but they've only been open for a few days days now. My family was very satisfied with their ice cream and was pleasantly surprised to find the prices very fair for the quality! They take cards. One suggestion? Outdoor seating. 5/5 would sprinkle again. (also the Zonkey has returned! But alas, still no fresh...

I've been going here since I moved nearby for the last 2 years with my wife and puppy. Their milk is always high quality directly from their cows, and the ice cream is always a delicious treat for us and our pup! The property is beautiful and always so relaxing to stop by.

Now let's get on to the real reason for this review. After they built their new pavilion, we decided to book it for our first baby shower event. Communicating with their event planner was incredibly easy and she was also extremely accommodating with helping me pick a date in September, as well as letting me change my hours last minute.

The day of the shower, the whole farm was PACKED as usual with customers, but we were easily able to access our clean, laid out pavilion with the exact tables we requested. I LOVE how everyone can walk around the pavilion during our private event, and some people asked if they could join the party! The planner was available to us the entire time making sure everything was taken care of. She went above and beyond what I expected. I think we really impressed all our guests with the amazing property, not to mention a perfect view of the mountains and flower fields behind.

We just...

I have visited on several occasions and I have enjoyed going to Tranquility Farm. I spent a lot of money at your business. Are you under new management? My experience last Saturday (11/23/24) was quite different. Usually, the staff greets you and also say thank you after the transaction is completed. They’re generally attentive. Instead the young men at the cash register were too busy running their mouths and I had to greet the one who gave me a flat hello grudgingly. I paid for the transaction and walked away and they continued their incessant blabbing. Ironically, they thanked my friend who was not the one who paid for the transaction after I left the store and what they said was within earshot.

To add insult to injury, when I bit into one of the cookies there was a hair in it. Ended up dumping all the baked goods, since I didn’t want to risk any more surprises. Wear hair nets when preparing the baked goods,, be attentive with ALL of your customers, be respectful to everyone, retrain your staff to prioritize your customers over socializing and your business will do well or even...
