I’ll try and control my enthusiasm ... nope, can’t ! The Boat Shop ... Best Equipment, Great rates, and most importantly, the Nicest, Professional, Friendly, Helpful and informed Staff my Family has ever encountered. My family of 22 has rented at Lake Wally every year since 2014. Each year we rent a pontoon boat for the week and , because we’re loyal , we’ve used the same rental company , not the Boat Shop , for the past six Years. This other Company was my first call this year. I was surprised to learn that they had moved their location, not a big deal, but their daily rate rose 25 % !!! I explained that I was a returning Customer which Was met with an insincere “ those are our prices “ . Next. So I called around, eventually made my way to a conversation with Carol at the Boat Shop. She initially advised me that due to Covid they had not yet made a decision about renting any boats at all . After quoting me some Very attractive rates with a free day after 4 days she asked me to call back in a few weeks. Fast forward, I call back , book the rental, show up on the agreed upon Monday , qualify with my son-in-law for the Safety certification ( never had to do that before?!) , and finally presented with the nicest, cleanest, pontoon boat we've ever encountered ! I've always wanted to ridr a jetski/WaveRunner. I was visiting a friend near Lake Wallenpaupuck and I thought to myself, "this is my chance..do it!" And I did just that. My wife actually told me about this place as we were preparing for an impromptu stay for the weekend near the lake.

When we got here the staff at the shop were so helpful and compassionate. I was told that a boat safety course had to be completed and I was quickly disheartened, but I was then told imemdiately that a temporary license could be issued after watching a safety video on how to operate the power watercraft.

After watching the video I was taken to get my life vest fitted and promptly taken to the dock where I saw the equipment I would be using. I was very excited! I was further assited by a staff member on the controls of the machine as well as safety protocols.

After that I was off! I had a great time and so did my wife who joined me halfway into my "me" time :) The lake was so calm and it was great being treated with exemplary customer service! This is the place to go! Look at me riding! I...
