The Springs at Takach's Grove — Attraction in Greenfield Township

Honestly the husband is very kind and smart. I wish he were the one running the business and in charge of finalizing choices as he seemed very reasonable. I was told a price for the number of guests at 75. When I changed the number the “discount” offered was taken away without any explanation or discussion other than “there was many reasons”. Then upon trying to message back and forth I was immediately written off as “not a good fit” because I didn’t want to pay 100$ per person as the reason being of using more utensils. A bad attitude and poor communication from the wife who runs everything it seems. Along with being a bit rude in response to my rather gentle message about the conflict. This is hands down the best wedding venue in the Scranton area. We looked at a lot of different venues and as soon as we went to Takach’s we knew it was the one. Beth and Steve are absolutely amazing. Booking here is like getting a venue, a florist, a wedding planner, 2 day of coordinators and more all at once. Beth helped me all along during the planning process and they were both there on the wedding day to make the day go seamlessly. I think just about every one of our guests said how it was the best venue they ever been to. And that was even on a rainy day! There’s something for every one of your guests whether they want to spend the night on the dance floor or hang out in the beer garden playing chess or corn hole. I can't say enough amazing things about Takach's Grove! Beth & Steve were great to work with from day 1. This was actually the first venue we toured and knew very early into the tour that this would be the perfect place for our wedding. When we booked the venue we planned on getting married in the back by the pond, but the spring before our wedding they built a beautiful pavilion which was the best location for our end of August wedding, there was shade!! Takach's makes it very easy to not have to go over the top on decorations - the property was gorgeous without all the extras! We are still receiving compliments on our venue choice months later and we're hopeful we'll get to make it back to be wedding guests in the future!
