We visited for the first time yesterday. It was a wonderful experience! Admission was $18 per person (we had seven people in our group) but that was very reasonable considering it covered almost everything except food and a few extra activities like carriage rides and gemstone mining. Plan to spend several hours because there is so much to do. Go early before it gets crowded. We were there for five hours and could have easily stayed longer. The grounds and facilities were very clean and all the staff was friendly and courteous. There were lots of different food vendors and plenty of options. Some were more expensive than others, it just depended on what you wanted. We had caramel apples, beef hot dogs, polish sausage, sloppy Joe's, roasted corn on the cob and lemon shake ups. They have wine slushies, too! Besides carnival ride and games they have multiple play houses, slides, pedal cars, lots of seasonal photo ops, a corn maze, a "sandbox" filled with corn kernels, a miniature train ride around the property (very pretty views), ziplines, inflatable bounce areas and more. My out of town family really enjoyed it and so did my kids. There is truly something for all ages. Definitely worth the trip and...
Read moreThe admission price is worth it considering the amount of rides and activities available but it wasn't organized very well; that might be normal for a Saturday but it was disappointing. Many of the actual rides didn't have operators and there was no clear area for the line. Also on the zipline no one was running it and kids were just taking it over. I was also sad to find out there was no apple cannon since there was never a space built for it but it was advertised as available. There were also some rude employees including a snide remark made when we put back a bigger pumpkin to be helpful since there was such a large line at the weigh station. I also was sadden to learn that the pumpkins we did get were actually bought from another vendor, especially since some still had the price sticker on them that were placed in the field. If you are local it I would still recomend it but as someone who came from 70+mi away I'm not sure. I will say that the snack booth with the apple cider slushies was still very fast even with her telling us that booth in particular had 3 people call off. We will probably come again on another day to hope today was a one...
Read moreRead moreLots to do here. When you arrive the first impression is 'carnival midway' not fall festival due to the numerous carnival rides and food booths. Just past that area are lots of other rather unique, fun actvities, most for children primarily due to physical size or weight restrictions. Many have no one supervising so you have to hope other users are considerate on taking turns. Several kids riding the kett bikes took extremely long rides, riding right by a long line of smaller kids with parents many times over. The large zipline was not working while we were there and many 60# kids were bottoming out on the smaller 2 ziplines. Adults need to catch or stop their child at the end of those smaller ziplines or they are likely to smack into the pole at the end. Despite this there are lots of fun things for kids to do. I do not think large adults or a person in a wheelchair, which we saw, that can't go on most or even any of the attractions, should need to pay admission. They are likely to spend $$ on food & more once...
