I will start by saying ; this is the first negative review I have ever given an establishment .The staff is non accommodating ; all reviews left stating how rude and unprofessional the staff is ; it’s an understatement .we had partee shack room booked for my 9 year old son’s birthday party . Ultimate party package comes with a 450$ price tag for 8 children ; each additional child 50$, we had a party of 13 children .package also includes 1 hour in the party room ; my party had booked an additional 2 hours at a price with the hopes of a positive experience and assistance with the party .The package also states it comes with a party host , and pizza for each child to have two slices , tableware (plates etc) while booking the reservation I informed that I was bringing my own tableware for decorations . So I walked in knowing the party room would not be decorated ; didn’t walk in knowing the rest of the horror . The party host Devin was at the room ; watching us bring in decorations ;states ; the room is yours ; I asked for assistance with the setting up for the decorations ; told “we don’t do that” alright ; I asked for clarification on how the partee flows in regards to the put put and racing ; I was told ; “whatever you want”No guidance etc provided ; then goes on to say you have scheduled race times ; well that’s great ; what time is that : so we can plan the flow of the party..he didn’t know that either ; left the room;came back informed us of the times and left again . No directions were given to the guest on filling out waiver forms ; wrist bands for put put ; just placed in the room , party host didn’t assist with banding the children ; I was left to do that . he could be found chatting it up with a group of employees . No information given on our drinks . Had to request water for the children . I was told 4 pizzas came included in the partee package for 13 children ; I requested 2 extra pizzas; total of 6 pizzas . later on looking at my receipt I will see that an additional four pizzas were charged to me ; and the explanation was ; only 2 pizzas come for a party of 13?? (How do 13 kids have two slices of pizza on 2 pizzas?) I asked for assistance in serving the children/ passing out pizza ; I was told the party host doesn’t do that either , cold pizza was just thrown in the room and party host left again . We had cupcakes from delicious bakery for our guest ; they were placed in the refrigerator that was “not working “ in the party room . Had a parent not realized that ; our cupcakes would have melted . I came and toured the party room prior to the day of the party ; I had never been ; needed to see how to decorate etc , I was told party host would be assisting with the party ; had a tv in the room and the host would assist us in playing music ;none of that ever occurred . parents of The birthday boy were left to pass out the cold food . I was told they make no announcement for the party guest to come in the room when food is ready ; but that the party host would round the kids up at the scheduled time ; never occurred, we were responsible to do that.assistant manager comes to room; her job was to justify the host not assisting the party ; while she is arguing with me to why we aren’t being assisted; I am trying to serve and accommodate our guest. My 70 year old father trying to arrange the trash , because was never emptied and the kids trying to throw away their plates .One would assume with a 1 thousand dollar price tag that the experience would be very different . After complaining and demanding some type of refund on the additional time in the party room because there was no host , they did refund some money . Save the hassle go to urban air ; chuckee cheese, party host helps ; attentive ; half the price . If your birthday boy is like mine and wants a partee shack party ; I observed another family who had 3 tables in the common area with their children ; set up for a party and serving their guest food . Will save yourself ALOT of money will have the exact same...
Read moreEXTREMELY unsafe experience, if I could give this zero stars I would (trip resulted in ambulance and hospital)
I am not normally someone who posts lengthy reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience has greatly upset me and my family and severely impacted the health safety of my mom, so I needed to share this info to warn others.
-no safety talk or waiver upon paying for mini golf that would indicate how unsafe the space actually is, no explanation of where the different courses were or how they were set up, and unfriendly staff at the desk who seemed solely interested in getting our money and ushering us quickly away to figure it out on our own
-Several areas of the course needed either warning signage or even an attendent supervising, such as an upstairs part of the course that is completely isolated and out of view from the rest of the building, and a dangerous zipline as part of one hole that went quickly toward an actual brick wall and did not contain a safety belt
-Absolutely 0 staff supervision of any section of the three golf courses and several unsafe camera blind spots considering how many unsupervised children there are
-No guard rails in poorly lit areas of the course and no safety netting between most of the many courses, even though there are multiple sections that require a heavier swing to get up hills, ramps, etc.
-Aggressive strobe lighting in areas of the course that did not have any warning signage for seizures, epilepsy, etc
-A dangerous number of unsupervised children running amok through all three of the courses, and crowds standing idly between most sections due to the congestion and poorly organized layout
-No bathroom or disabled access anywhere in the mini golf section of the building, resulting in people being forced to squeeze through the maze of courses and interrupt other golfers if there is an emergency or even if you just needed to use the bathroom during any of the three, long courses
My family and I went there today to celebrate a birthday and play mini golf and instead had to endure poor support from stafff and an ambulance trip to the hospital when my mom (a 9 year stroke survivor who has already experienced severe brain trauma) was hit in the head by a golf ball from halfway across the room by one of the many unsupervised children. We were forced to panic-rush through the crowded maze of courses to find the only place to sit down, near the very front of the building, and seek help from the staff. Their reaction was very slow given the circumstances and the only initial solution was to hand us an instant-ice type of icepack and to "let them know if we ended up needing real ice". Meanwhile it is extremely clear to anyone around that this is not a minor incident. They eventually called an ambulance and passed us an incident report to fill out, but they did not appear to care about my mom's wellbeing at all and instead were worried about covering themselves. One member of staff passively commented that this same exact thing happened to a few kids the other day, and it seems like these "incidents" are fairly common here so much that the staff is entirely used to it and they still don't care to put up safety nets or do anything to fix these issues. Before the ambulance arrived, we asked for the name and info for the members of staff and management that we spoke with today for future contact purposes regarding this entire awful experience, and they were extremely reluctant to give us anything at all. They quickly changed their tones and tried to brush things off and clearly wanted to just be done dealing with us.
This is an EXTREMELY unorganized and unsafe establishment that does not care at all about the wellbeing of its customers. It might be a really cool place to go if they fixed these major issues, but none of the interesting or fun golf courses are worth the HUGE safety risks. Please please be extremely careful if you go here, but I'd honestly recommend going somewhere much...
Read moreAmazing looking place, but be careful of staff here. Our excitement was ruined before we were even able to check in because of an employee’s poor temperament. While waiting to check in, another guest got into an altercation with a staff member, resulting in words being exchanged and the staff member then intentionally hit a plate of wings from the gentleman’s hands, which flew at me and covered and stained my shirt. The staff member then hit a plate of mozzarella sticks out of the same guest’s hands, which also flew and hit me. The entire altercation between the guest and staff member started because his food had been waiting on the “to go” stand too long, and he got tired of waiting, and decided to walk behind the counter himself (not appropriate by any means). The employee came out and immediately started an altercation stating “no you don’t do that” and flipped his food from his hands. No staff came to check on the entire situation, and nothing was immediately done with the staff member who threw the food. After about 10 minutes someone finally notified management, and he would only talk to the staff member relaying the situation (again, not the staff member who threw the food). We had to go to the manager ourselves and alert him that we were impacted and it was clear the manager didn’t know what to do. The entire time this played out, the food was left sitting on the floor with other guests walking past and over it. Nothing was offered, not even a rag to wipe the barbecue sauce that was covering my shirt. We ultimately left after nothing was done, not even assurance that the situation would be handled with the employee. I feel it’s common understanding nowadays that tensions are high in places such as these, however staff should be held to a higher standard and level of professionalism that unfortunately was not...
