Greenville Shrine Club & Event Center — Attraction in Greenville

This is a nonprofit Venue that makes money for the Greenville Shriner’s hospital. They are all great people! Dominique runs the venue and they have a huge room that will hold 1500 people and a smaller room as well. We went to a cage fighting event, MMA, it was amazing! We have discussed having our wedding reception here with Dominique. It has got everything you need and tons of space and are very reasonably priced. They give you the entire day before to set up to! We went for the Lego convention. First of all they should have call it a sale event. It is absolutely ok to sell everything during conventions, but it shouldn't be the only focus of it. Secondly, very disorganized. From a safety point of view it was very dangerous. Way too many people clustered one on top of each other in a very small space. Everyone was going wherever, there was no pathway to follow which, in a larger room it would be absolutely ok, but when you deal with such small places there must be a way to go, a...

It is a large location. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to. Exterior: super outdated, very run down, kind of sketchy looking. Desperately needs some curb appeal attention. My kids were afraid to get out of the car when we arrived, they said it looked scary and wanted to leave.

Interior: Same as outside. Outdated, Run down, a little creepy. Smelled weird too (yes, I managed to get my kids to go inside with me)

I'm sure at one time this was a great event space but it is in some serious need of love...
