We visited the farmers market earlier this week instead of buying our produce at a grocery store. The gentleman that checked us out was the rudest person I have ever met. Being a business owner and a people person, I still tried to talk to him about any subject that I thought would benefit him. He was snide and did not respond to anything I said. The lady beside him helping him bag our groceries even noticed it and tried to help him along in the conversation, with little luck. Today I bought honey from Greenville Honey. I saw someone selling hostas, hydrangeas, scuppernong and muscadine plants. A tee shirt vendor. Someone selling bread and crackers. We rushed to get here after work, through the chaos of Cherrydale at rush hour, and promptly upon arriving, a worker informed us they would be closing in 5 minutes. The posted time on their site and on the doors is 5:55PM . . . we were pushed out around 5:40. As silly as it sounds, those 10-15 minutes would have made a huge difference.
