
Fabolous time had by a new polo fan.
I was invited by a friend to watch the semi-finals of this season's polo. The only sport I follow is hockey -- so I wasn't sure what to expect and if I would like it. But I figured-- hey why not. I was instantly hooked.
Our friend had a box next to the announcer which was great for a newbie. By the second Chukker I had a good handle on the game. During intermission -- hop on the field and stomp some clods. When you're done check out the free drink samples or buy a cocktail. I suggest using the waitress-- the line is shorter and the system is easier. On the floor, the use a card exchange system -- convoluted for no reason.
The food trucks are fab, the greek good and the japanese were our favourites. It was a great time. I never knew polo was so interesting. I definitely would recommend coming to check it out.

The event was not only beautiful but also surprisingly clean for an outdoor venue from the seating areas to the restrooms, everything was well-maintained.
