I'm going to start off by saying this review is strictly for the visit we had today. My wife and I have been here a few times throughout the years and have never had this experience before. It started with the first appetizer which was the calamari. We order this dish every time we come here, but today it seemed very lacking. Normally, your calamari is breaded and crunchy with the marina sauce placed on the side as an option to dip in. Ours was quite the opposite. The sauce was on the bottom with the calamari being soggy and wilted arugula around the perimeter. My wife wanted to send it back immediately, but I told her to let it go and try to enjoy her birthday evening. The waitress did ask us how it was and we gave her our honest opinion. After expressing to her exactly the way I just described it, her response was, "Well you ate it." When you ask for an opinion it doesn't require a defensive rebuttal or a rebuttal at all. Continuing on with the next appetizer, that came out a few minutes later after our conversation with the waitress, the salad with salmon. This turned out amazing and delicious. Everything was fresh and well cooked. A big redemption from the first dish. As we were getting ready to start eating we advised the waitress that we would like to place the main dishes now that our appetizers are here. She then mentioned that they did last call for food already, but she will see if they could proceed to take our order. Returning back she said they could which we proceeded to order two of their continental burgers cooked well-done with fries as side dishes. Eventually, the dishes arrived and both looked outstanding. My dish was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, as my wife took her first bite, she realized hers was very pink on the side. This time I decided to have the dish returned for one that was cooked properly. The waitress addressed the issue respectfully and swiftly the first time. When she returned later with the second burger, I advised my wife to cut it in half now and check to see if it was to her liking. Upon doing so, we found yet again that the burger still was pink on the inside. The waitress then proceeded to ask if it was cooked to her likings? My wife stated no and once again she rebutted with a smart comment, " I mean I was just asking for your opinion". We aren't trying to cause any trouble here. We just would like what we asked for. Also, it's not an opinion, it's facts. The fact that the burger is still pink on the inside. So I politely rejected the burger and asked the waitress to return it for a well cooked one. Now this is where things took a turn for the worse. She comes back with a new burger the bun cut in half and missing pieces of it the toppings spewing out the side and sauce oozing out. She stated and I quote, " This is what the cook gave me." You as the waitress should never serve something that you know is not quality. Needless to say we asked for a manager. I told her that this is unacceptable and all I want is for not to pay for this burger, cancel the desert, and bring the bill for what we did eat. She did apologize for what was served and honored my request. As then stated that she hopes to see us in the future. Not something you should say after something like this. Especially, when all you did was just honor the customer request. We didn't ask for a free meal or anything equivalent. You've already ruined my wife's birthday dinner and our great memory of the place. We just wanted to leave and try to make the best of the rest of the evening. We did not take pictures of the food because we like to try and enjoy our moments with one another without our phones always with us. However, I did take a picture of our receipt to show exactly what we ordered. I really don't have anything left to say except that no one should ever have to deal with such...

My wedding was on August 31st, 2024, a month prior an instagram advertisement came with Ford House tickets since I was looking for a nice location for pictures. So I looked up their pictures on social media and then decided to buy 11 but only needed 9 garden tour tickets (tickets are about $ 10 per person for my bridal party and photographers. On the day of wedding our limo drove us all the way to visitor center and park right next to the center, my husband got out of the car but kept doors open since he was going in for a minute to ask where to go and park. Once the husband went inside to talk, two workers from Ford House decided to pass through the limo, seeing that doors were open and damaged/bended doors of the limo. When the husband came out, our chaufer was already on the phone with limo company, trying to figure out what to do. Meanwhile, my husband shared the news that we can not be here for pictures because instead of garden tickets, we needed to pay like $400-$500, we did not know that and lady (receptionist) pretty much told my husband in a rude way that we need to leave. We'll not with the limo door issue. We could go anywhere since Ford House workers broke the door. We asked if it was possible to pay a difference in price so we could take photos outside while chaufer of Limo was trying to find a way to get a new car for us. The lady said no, and that the only option we have is to sit and wait in the visitor center until the situation was fixed. After waiting 50 minutes, chaufer mentioned that new car was coming for us, since this is our wedding day and we needed to move somewhere else we (bridal party, photographers my husband and I(groom and bride at the time) getthered our belonging and starting walking toward the exit since chaufer could move limo until situation could be resolved with the car. While walking close through the tree tunnel. This rude lady and the two working men drove in the same golf cart to where we were walking and started yelling that we were at private promises and that we can't just walk where we want because it is historic location. The thing is, we were walking on the road to the entrance gate, and it does make sense how trees tunnel historic building. We had to turn around and go back to the limo and wait to figure out how to leave that location. They were claiming that this is historic site and pictures could be taken while about one months later i saw someone i am friends in Instagram posting wedding pictures through out Ford House, so not sure how they pick and choose who can be there and who can't. This is the worst experience ever. People who work there are not welcoming and not willing to help and resolve situations. This lady was ruining our wedding day, which was supposed to be a day to remember for entire life, and to be honesti I will remember this experiencealso for my entire life. I really dont know if people like this be hired and treat their visitors in such a rude and disrespectful way. It was our first and last time going to this location. We would not suggest going to this location unless you want to be disappointed and disrespected in such a way. This is big shame to know that places such as this depend on visitors because they pay for employeess salaries, and receiving this kind of treatment from people who are employed by Ford House or Ford House Work operation system in a beautiful location is unbelievable but expensive is getting connected to the place and it is huge shame. People to whom I spoke about this kept telling me to post and share this experience, so here I am sharing my personal experience at Edsel and...

I'm a old schooled Florist Designer and when I was fifteen years of age, Mrs. Ford gave her on loan for an evening of quartet, Joe's de virus, as well Champagne and.juices, tented the pool area's were mosquito net set up as an area 5o avoid the pesky insects. Letting me know I remember when I was leaving, dizzy and spinning around with the money shove into my pockets. Mrs. Ford whom I met delightfully surprised by how few men achieve a higher level of expertise wishing you all the best to deserve a time to grow and learn from the, I told her that I have been working on it since I was five- ish and can be there at your request for a love of my future career inside the garden's all Rose's.
