Beautiful although saddening to see all the litter debris everywhere. Parking is better done by the road unless you want to risk damaging your vehicle. Be cautious to where you walk due to people urinating any where. No potter potties on location and nearest bathroom isn't close. This isn't a family spot for kids due to the younger crowd drinking, smoking and some areas allowed nudity. Lots of areas have been defaced by graffiti or stickers plastered everywhere. Beautiful hike , just be cautious, walk ways haven't been groomed and you will get scratched. A gorgeous view of the surrounding beach and cliffs. And my favorite.....a hidden gem under the trees will be a creepy...

I'm only rating it 4 stars because the guests leave trash, and not enough people volunteer to clean up after the man-children.

Aside from that, the beach access is just dangerous enough to be exciting. There's no guard rails.

The trails have thick brush and cliffs, with limited access to the average foot hiker.

Another pro, or con??? Now, a real artist needs to paint a Dahli-esque on the main cave walls to disguise the tag graffiti.

It has all the feel of public lands, w little government interference.

....but it has one of the best views in town.

Plus somebody, offered me their fully provisioned, bay facing, cliffside, static rope accessible, cave for a...

If everyone at this beach acted like an adult and not like they're at a frat party, it would get five stars. The beach unfortunately attracts young 20 something year old idiots. I went to the beach yesterday and a group of them drank so much they were falling all over each other and one woman vomited next to me. I left in disgust. They ruined it for me. Moreover they were at the East End of the beach where most people were not wearing clothes but of course they were all wearing clothes and Blasting they're stupid music. What a peaceful Beach it would be without these type...

🌊 Big Sur Roadtrip Itinerary Below ⤵️ 🚨Note that part of Highway 1 is currently closed due to landslide damage. I’d recommending waiting to do this trip until the road re-opens which is estimated to be mid February 📍 Pick up your rental car in San Francisco and review the leave no trace principles before embarking on your journey. When visiting locations pack out all of your trash, stay on designated hiking/walking trails, and don’t carve or stack rocks. This Roadtrip will be 450 miles total and will take about 10 hours of driving. So I’d give yourself 7-10 days to complete it! 📍Shark Fin Cove, Davenport This unique beach is perfect for sunset. It’s located right off the highway and is a short steep walk to the beach. Or you can stay above on the cliffs overlooking the beach 📍Garrapata State Park This Park has breathtaking coastal views with dramatic rock formations. Don’t forget to pay the fee for entry! 📍Bixby Bridge An iconic Big Sur location featuring two bridges as well as stunning views all around 📍Pfeiffer Beach Another beach with unique rock formation cutouts 📍Mcway Falls A hike that leads to an overlook of a beach with a waterfall and dramatic coastlines 📍Elephant Seal Vista Point You can’t miss this spot to observe elephant seals from just a few feet away in their natural habitat 📍Pirates Cove Beach If you’re up for an adventure you can find some sea caves and unique rocks at this beach 📍El Matador State Beach A beach with tons of hidden sea caves and rock formations that you can spend hours exploring 📍Malibu Check out the food scene, night life, and tourist attractions Malibu has to offer 📍Drop off your rental car in Los Angeles In frame: @nicolecarter08 @brianakays
