Blind Beach — Attraction in Guerneville

Fantastic views, narrow path the zig zags. Theres a bathroom at top (where most people stay for the view) but we walked down the trail. About 2 feet wide, some areas smaller but doable as long as you have athletic shoes or light hiking shoes...I would NOT wear flip flops or sandals, too risky especially going down. Last "stairs" are random and, well, I'll say rickety...we let our large dog go down himself, we balanced ourselves down, last 6 wooden stairs moved as they were latched together! Bizarre but fine. Leash on our dog, about 15 people total there from 11-1230, more always come later. No one had leash one, we carried it and put on when people came but all dogs totally great. Easy & they got along cause beach totally Zen central. Well worth the hike down, so great! A but better than regular Goat Rock beach a little farther but...

Outstanding views. Great beach to have a stroll, enjoy the waves, the sand and the views. Not recommended for swimming as the tide is super strong and there are several rocks around. Still got to soak your feet/legs and enjoy the sun. There is a calmer beach just on the other side of the parking lot. I am not sure if dogs are allowed or not, but I have seen plenty of dogs around when I was there, at least on...

This place sure has beautiful scenery but it is extremely dangerous. If you visit please be very careful. Do not swim! & keep your family and pets close. Do not leave your children unattended. Also, check for any weather alerts. I understand that in the moment it’s easy to get distracted and it’s tempting to get closer but please don’t take the risk. Things happen in the blink of an eye.
