Gunnison Park — Attraction in Gunnison

This is a fairly large park, there are wonderful, huge trees that keep the park shaded and cool, the playground has lots of fun stuff for kids but it is a typical playground not a new updated one which is fine with me. There is also an indoor pool to play in as well, frisbee golf course, a couple covered places with tables for family outtings and a commemoration to some of the war veterans. The only downside is that the park is right next to the main road so watch your little ones, although it is opposite the playground it's still a worry as the coal truckers are a constant...

I only stopped long enough to see the park briefly but the stops intention were to let me doggo stretch his legs. Since no dogs were allowed I didn't really get to experience it but it looked well maintained, had a skate park and seemed like alot of effort in creating activities to entertain kids.
