GPS Powersports — Attraction in Guntersville

Worst powersports dealership I’ve ever dealt with and will not be back. I took my ATV to Gville Powersports to rebuild the carbs, it had been sitting in a garage for several years and would run but only with the choke applied and would bog down under load. They could not get it to run and claimed the ATV would not run due to not having compression, even though it had been driven 2 days prior and had less than 100 hours total on it. They lied to to me on multiple occasions in an attempt to sell me a $3,000 engine rebuild. After I declined they attempted to buy the ATV for cheap not once, not twice, but three times from me after I declined the rebuild. I paid my $600 service bill for rebuilding the carbs(they did not) and took the bike to a reputable in Huntsville and they easily rebuilt the carbs and tuned them and I have been driving it for months now with no hiccups. Do NOT go here if you can help it. It is clear to me that the service department at Lake Guntersville Powersports are manipulating customers in to purchasing expensive repairs in hopes that they 1. Will pay it and not complain so they profit, or 2. Will sell their powersports cheap so they can repair and flip them for quick profit. This is a shady business practice. Cant seem to get anybody to answer, I was in contact with one of their salesman through Facebook marketplace about a Raptor 700 they had. I sent him information about a potential trade in I had and he said he would get me some numbers. That was Tuesday morning and I have yet to hear anything back, I’ve tried touching base everyday now and can’t get an answer back. So I tried messaging their Facebook page here since they seem to be pretty active and can’t get an answer back here either! I’m not going to continue jumping through hoops like a monkey to spend money. I would normally just go to the dealer but they’re over two hours away from me. If this is how they treat their customers before they even walk through the door then maybe they did me a favor by blowing me off. Pretty ironic that they’re having their “customer appreciation” event today.

Seems my negative comments and review gained some attention, I was contacted back via Facebook messenger on 7/18 in which I was asked for a good phone number to be contacted at the following day. I declined and requested to be emailed in which I was assured that I would be contacted. As of 7/20 I have not been contacted and doubt I ever will be. Do not bring your bike to these folks they lied to me from the start. I brought my bike to them to build the carburators quoted me a price Said they could start on it in two week .I waited five weeks called them they even started on it waited another four weeks call them they said it was going to be three times the price they quoted me. Kept my bike for eight months said they built the carbs which was a lie said they couldn't fix because of four little springs to sinc them up you have two kind of spring's big and small and push or pull. When I went and got it charged me six hundred for the parts to build it with was a lie said something about I he laughed.i save three years to buy this bike it has been garage kept all it's life they left it out side the hole time .it didn't look like same bike .I took it to another shop they showed me the carb hadn't been tore down or built they kept my breather box that costed me200 to replace they kept my bike out side for eight months charged me 600 to get it 200 for the box 800 Dollars for nothing.when you sign that price of paper when drop off you are signing you bike over to them they got you .do not take your bike to these people they are crooks and will look right in the face...
