Thompson Park — Attraction in Guymon

Nice place with concrete sidewalk all the way around the pond. If you enjoy walking or running it's a nice place to go for a stroll. I have seen lots of people fishing here and there are tons of ducks that are used to being fed. It has a play ground and a small train and train tracks that go around the perimeter, I'm sure they have a schedule for the train but I'm really not that sure, it may just be a special occasion thing. There's also a golf course that's right next door and you can usually find golf balls which isn't that big of a deal but if you have kids they love finding treasure. It's s nice park that's pretty clean. Porta jons for restrooms on each side of the park. It's quiet here every time...

Great place to spend an afternoon or evening with family or friends. I've been coming here since I was a little kid. There's lot to do like going for a walk, playing on the playground, having a picnic, playing frisbee, or feeding some ducks. The water was up today because it rained a whole lot about a week ago. Another great activity to so is go explore the tunnels when the water is not too high. Also, the Lions Club has a train attraction that is great for kids and getting to see the park. There are paddle boats available as well. These attractions are usually during warm weekends on afternoons...
