I only give this place a one star and I never do that because I really enjoy nature very much but I give this place a one star because everything was so overgrown that you could not even see any blue markers I started to take a loop path headed towards Bear Hill and once you start walking it is so overgrown I ended up with ticks all over me because the trail was not properly marked either I ended up going around in a circle two times and almost got lost even though I was following the all trails app. Whoever maintains this is not taking care of it please work proper bug spray and make sure you have more than one map open when you do this if you're not familiar...
Read moreThe waterfall part is cool and pretty. The hike is nice, a bit challenging at times but not too bad. Just off the trail at either the beginning or end of the loop, depending which way you go, right by the power lines, is a weird area with intentionally stacked rock formations. It's looks like some kind of pagan shrine thing. I can't find any other references to it anywhere on the internet, so I don't know if it's new or something. It does look creepy though. The red granite stones are intentionally place in the middle of white granite stones in a way that had my wife convinced it had been used for an animal sacrifice. I wish I...
Read moreReally cool little park with the regular assortment of trails and some decent views here and there. Nothing super noteworthy, but a nice place to get a short/medium hike in if you don't live too far. Keep your eyes peeled for some rocky areas to do a little bouldering if that's your thing, as well.
I wouldn't go terribly far out of my way to check this place out, but if you live relatively close by do yourself a favor and give it a shot. I've never seen more than a few cars parked here, so I imagine it's a bit unknown/underrated and you'll probably have most of the place...
