The trails in this nature preserve are in a wooded area that have some hilly slopes, which makes hiking more fun than on other south Jersey flat trails. If you go into the swamp area by the creek, you would find it like a jungle. So it’s pretty hard to walk through the swamp. I would suggest stay in the woods.
Many people unleash their dogs to play in the brook, so use cautions. I was told that early in the morning at around 8:00am is the busiest dog walking time, because people come before going to work.
There’s also a rope swing by the brook (check out my remarks on the picture of the trail map ).

We took the white trail and did get a little turned around but we made our way just fine. We found the green swing also.
