Mountwell Playground — Attraction in Haddonfield

I don't usually post- but I drove by this playground to drop books off at the little free library (which was empty and definitely needs more) ... to see that it was completely redone. While there were a few new cool items- everything that made this playground special was gone. The humongous covered sandpit GONE! All the fun random toys and loose parts GONE! The character missing. The old 4 person bouncy animal 'see-saw' gone. Now it basically looks like all the other new playgrounds. It is so sad to see a few 100 thousand dollars go to this- the removal of the more grounded and different elements. I hope some local people find a way to bring back the sandpit and spots for giving old used toys another chance at life. Shame shame on the town. They could have updated the slides and swings without destroying all the...

This park has overstayed its welcome. It old, broken, and tired. Grass is overgrown, weeds in the sandbox, and parts of the playground are boarded up with plywood. Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date before...

We miss the sandbox but it really is a great spot to play got the kids. The new equipment is fun. All ages can play here.
