I recently visited a fantastic park located in Ives, near I-95, and I was thoroughly impressed with what it has to offer. The park features several well-maintained fields for football, softball, and soccer, making it an excellent spot for sports enthusiasts of all ages. Itâs great to see so many families and teams enjoying the facilities.
One of the highlights for me was the separate dog park, which is divided into areas for small and large dogs. It creates a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry friends to play and socialize. I loved watching the dogs run around while their owners mingled.
The park also boasts playgrounds for kids, complete with fun equipment that keeps them entertained for hours. Itâs a great place for families to spend time together outdoors. Additionally, there are small trails for walking and biking, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or a bike ride amidst the greenery.
Overall, this park in Ives is a wonderful community resource. With its diverse offerings and well-maintained facilities, it caters to everyone, from sports lovers to families with kids and pets. I highly recommend it for a fun day...
Read moreHuge open park plenty of not used space, tried to go there with my dog for a walk. I haven't seen any "no dogs allowed" sign at the entrance. While driving inside this worker who was busy talking on the phone started yelling "no dogs allowed no dogs allowed", turned around and asked what's going on and he repeated "no dogs allowed". I answered that I didn't see any sign at the entrance , his annoyed answer "no arguing there are no dogs allowed it says in front". Went back to the front and yes under the park rules it is stated no pets allowed ( which is total nonsense in my opinion) but not that big as to be seen right away from your car . Advice - please put a big sign with no dogs allowed at the entrance so other people like me can avoid being yelled at by...
Read moreGreat meet and greet for toddlers to age 12 and their parents/guardians. Huge open fields for rambunctious little ones with excessive energy. There are occasional shy racoons and feral black cats. The playground with 4 swings and ample play sand is the best thing. Also, there are ample park benches and a few picnic tables. Not much shade beyond the main playground. Although, I've never ventured beyond the kiddie playground, I know there's a general area for restrooms and a baseball diamond. They recently opened a little outside fitness section, however I've noticed too many underage kids playing with the exercise equipment. There's usually a park employee maintaining the parks well kept and clutter free grounds. HAVE...
