Veterans Park - Kurlander Field — Attraction in Hamilton Township

Nice open park has good playgrounds for the kids has a long path for walking you can see old tanks, jets, helicopters, and canon. Has a beautiful lake you can go fishing at or you can sit in a gazebo where you can see the lake, on the other side of the park it has a soccer field, baseball field, tennis courts, dog park, skate park, volleyball fields, and more opened fields for picnics, around the baseball field you can see shelters with tables where you can relax, not far from those shelters their are small hills with grills and tables where you can eat. There are paths that you can walk along the side of the lake, and others where you can walk along a small creek. Along the main path you will find a gazebo and close to that gazebo their is a open field you can go to and if you walk in you can see to the right another opened grassy field where you can relax. Went here yesterday for a walk. Love the environment. Clean with lots of places for kids to play. Very family and pet friendly.

The only downside was while walking the trail, mosquitoes dealt with me cos of the swamp. So if you don't want mosquito bites, don't venture into the trails. Just walk within the park and enjoy your time out. Sometimes we get cooked up...
