I moved to Toms River last December! I had cancer treatments which were completed before the move! I selected Dr. Gazi! He seemed like a good Doctor! I made an appointment and dropped off all my records and filled out their forms! When I reported for my appointment they lost some of the paper work ! The Doctor prescribed two test! On the first test I arrived on November 30th but they could not do the test because the computer did not work and just did a flow test! The nurse said I would not be charged to complete the main part which was more involved but the receptionist gave me a difficult time on the copay! I was told not to take my medication five days for this test and no instruction was given on resuming the medication! I wrote a letter to Doctor Gazi for advice after calling several times for help! No response! I cancelled the second test in fear that something might go wrong since they were not successful on the first test! I am nervous about them sticking things in me if the test should fail again! The Doctor should have called me! The receptionist at the window ignored me and was very rude! The nurse on the first test had catheters ready to insert in me but the computer did not work! Thank God the other nurse told her to hold off ! I wrote another letter asking for my records back but no response from the...
Read moreApril 29 my wife Ruth received a call from Dr.Gazi office for the next day appointment to discuss and to go through the results of the test. Ruth asked what is the result of my test? The answer was I don't know, the doctor wants to see you to go through and to discuss the results of the test. This created tremendous anxiety and uncertainty of the condition of her health issue. The next day we waited more than an hour then another 15 minutes in patient room. When the doctor came in and announced that the test is all good, stay less than a minute and walked out. We didn't have the chance to ask anything. Before we left I saw him came out from other room, immediately I said to him politely, "Dr, next time could you please just tell us through the phone that the test is good, instead of creating anxiety and uncertainty for us." It is unethical to treat the patient this way to carry an xiety and uncertainty and waited more than an hour to see Dr. Less than a minute and to hear "the test is fine." The call can reach the goal and treat the patient as human and respect. With my whole heart I advise it's better to go...
Read moreDo all they care about money here? At the very least losy individuals? You tell me. This doctor's office found a mistake by my insurance co. Birthday off by one day. However my 6 other doctor's office have no problem getting paid. So after insinuating that it must be there mistake, they decided to try get me to pay a $350 retainer before I could be treated because the date of birth was wrong. When I show up for my appointment they ask for the money. I had no problem paying a more reasonable amount or if i had been given advanced notice. They refused to see me without recieving payment. Maybe I hurt there feelings, really kodus to them for finding the mistake. Lack of consideration was purposeful, or perhaps they incompetent in communication but had they told me the day before the appointment maybe it would have turned out...
