The grounds are very well cared for, and there's lots of trails to explore throughout the park. Dogs are allowed which is a big plus in my book. My lower rating is due to 2 negative aspects I noticed: first is, this park is located right next to the snooty, snobby upscale town of Hamilton. On multiple separate occasions I have run into fellow walkers that were beyond snobby, looked down their noses at me and ignored me when I wished them a nice day. On one occasion I even felt the need to respond in a sharply negative manner to a woman due to her need to try to make me feel uncomfortable for walking my dogs where she walks. So you will likely end up running into some rich Hamilton snob that thinks they're better than the general public. I can deal with it, and will talk back at them, but it's your call! The other negative I noticed is that there seems to be a thick population of coyotes living on the grounds. I have come across them multiple different times, and would not recommend walking toy dogs that could be very tempting for a group of hungry coyotes....

Pool and splash pad makes an awesome whole day experience for the kiddos. Very clean bathroom and changing areas as well. They really keep up with the place. Huge grassy area for a little picnic as well as picnic tables and I did see people grilling not sure if u bring ur own or what but u can grill. Cute idea for a bday party or a small gathering. And 5 bucks a car load which is even better. JUST MAKE SURE U BRING UR DEBIT CARD THEY DONT TAKE CASH WHICH IS ODD TO ME BUT THEY ARE PUSHING TO MAKE PEOPLE PAY THROUGH THE APP I GUESS THATS WHAT WE WERE TOLD. I BROUGHT CASH THINKING TOTAL OPPOSITE BUT HE LET US IN ANYWAYS WHICH WAS SUPER NICE 👍 SO I CANT SAY INE BAD THING KIDS HAD A BALL THEY OPEN AT 10...

Just a magical place. Some amazing trails and great wildlife. The splash pad in the summer is wonderful. If your lucky you can see the myopia hunt come through with the horses and hounds!! Parking is great and handicap accessible. The staff is great and the grounds are very well maintained. I've gone here since I was a little boy. We rode our bikes all-over. We loved going after a rain storm and got all muddy. There is a great paved road through the middle of the park that's great for doing anything on wheels or foot. There are endless trails to explore but make sure you have a map or GPS because you can definitely get lost if you wander far. This is a great family place that I...

Yesterday was the 1st time visiting. It's free to visit until Memorial Day. Then there are fees. Something like $5 to park per day or they have bundle packages. If you are from out of state the prices get exuberantly expensive!! The park has a wide variety of trails. Also a water (park) area for kids. Plenty of picnic areas, tables & spots to cook. If you are looking for a place to cool off with the kids or go for a hike/ take in nature? This state park is perfect.

📍40 Asbury St, Topsfield, MA 01983 @home.withlittles 💦Cool off at the fully fenced splash pad– perfect for hot summer days! 🛝 Shaded playground in the same enclosed area! 🍉 Bring snacks & enjoy a family picnic under the trees 🍦The ice cream truck makes visits from time to time! 🚻 Restrooms on-site for convenience 📚On select days the Topsfield Library has a storytime pop-up with games and books 🐾 Plenty of walking trails if you want to explore before or after!

Beautiful enormous park! We came for the splashpad for my 2 year old but the actual park and road in were amazing and beautiful. People were walking, hiking, and bike riding around. My 2 year old thought he was in a "jungle." When we got to the kid's area, there were bathrooms, a playground, and a giant splashpad. It is very clean and we had a wonderful time. I want to come back for a bike ride with my partner. It was so beautiful
