Multi-use trail is a bit of a misnomer. This is mainly an ATV trail. This is not really good for biking unless you have some seriously fat tires that can handle a lot of loose sandy gravel with large stones. A normal hybrid bike is probably not suitable for this surface. Also the ATVs will make you eat dust clouds. Most multi-use paths I have been on even in Maine did not have ATVs and were better surfaced for biking. Another thing to be aware of is this is a very remote trail that doesn't have many road crossings if you wanted to escape and come back...
Read moreFast, clean, bug free*. The first 10 miles are pretty flat with a few dips. Plenty of room to go two wide. Great view points along the way (mostly bogs). Watch for deer further in; watched two jump in front of an oncoming rider. Trail crosses a through-way after mile 9.
Only down side was the dust. Goggles or even well fitting sunglasses will make this much more enjoyable...
